Founded by Simon and Aporva back in 2002 through friendship and a with a mission to challenge the status quo and create brands with attitude. A ‘manifesto’ would guide the fledgling company into a new way of working, with guideline statements that reminded them to ‘Look underneath, but craft the surface’, to ‘Work with the client directly’ and to have the ‘confidence to say “no”’.
Our creative journey began by – to quote our client – “giving MTV2 its balls back and delivering a radical brand that our audience love.”
We’ve on worked on everything from Formula 1 race graphics to branding channel FIVE in the UK. Writing a book on design to designing the identity for music streaming service, Last.fm which sold to CBS for $240m. Giving Eurosport its biggest rebrand in 26 years and creating a radical TV experience for Premier League which was exhibited as a Design of the Year in the Design Museum.
We’ve even co-written, produced and directed a feature film – Tiger Raid. Officially selected and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
