Brave brands change the world.

We strive to help make them.

Trusted by AT&T, Viacom, Capital One, WWE, Audible, IMAX, Premier League, Channel 4, Netflix and Paradox Games. Companies that seek to be bold and challenge convention.

How we do it.

Insight. Getting immersed in your world.

On the pitch, in the crowd, in the pitlane, jostled with the fans, meeting your team and your audience wherever they are in the world. Immersing ourselves in your business, brand, culture to get tangible, and transformational insights that create the foundation for a defining strategy.

Interpret. The strategy that drives the big idea.

We work with your C-Suite, senior team, and wider team to uncover what matters most. Through active, inspiring working sessions we work towards defining a brand strategy and point of view that is unique to you. One that doesn’t sit in a desk drawer, but lives and breathes through everything you do.

Inspire. A brand that works everywhere.

Then we prototype the brand across all kinds of touchpoints, and test the brand now and for the future. We turn this into a brand identity that is beautiful, but full of meaning. That works in different contexts and delights your audience and elevates your business.

Implement. Make it, craft it, build it for real.

Our expert team of strategists, creatives, motion designers, producers, and writers design, craft, make, animate, compose, film, photograph and build the brand to create a powerful and flexible brand world and toolkit. Often we do this in collaboration with in-house creative teams for a seamless transition.

Impact. Share it and turn up the volume.

From a launch that features a Times Square takeover to a longer roll-out from the internal team out toward a global audience. We work alongside our clients to plan and orchestrate how the brand is shared in the right way, with the most impact.

Our story.

Simon Dixon and Aporva Baxi met 25 years ago and bonded over a love of film and design, in particular, 2001: A Space Odyssey. It follows then that the pair would decide to set up their collaborative studio in 2001, calling it DixonBaxi. Today, it is an established name in the world of strategy and branding reaching 3 billion people with its international work.

DixonBaxi is a studio which prides itself of being brave, being restlessly creative, on the front foot and always in beta.

Our creative journey began by – to quote our client – “giving MTV2 its balls back and delivering a radical brand that our audience love.”

We’ve on worked on everything from Formula 1 race graphics to branding channel FIVE in the UK. Writing a book on design to designing the identity for music streaming service, Last.fm which sold to CBS for $240m. Giving Eurosport its biggest rebrand in 26 years and creating a radical TV experience for Premier League which was exhibited as a Design of the Year in the Design Museum.

We’ve even co-written, produced and directed a feature film – Tiger Raid. Officially selected and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

From our London studio, we work with brands all over the world. We’re proud to have a diverse team of creative people with perspectives from all over the world – Sao Paolo, Lisbon, Hong Kong, London, Rwanda, Scotland, Belgium, Germany and more. It makes for a rich, vibrant environment full of ideas, opinions, and experience.
